Thanks for joining me! I created this web log so that I might be able to follow the continued writings our great editorial page editor, Dave Krieger, who was unjustly ousted form the Boulder Daily Camera by owner Alden Vulture Capital’s lower level yes-men.
While Dave has written a few good pieces in WordPress since then, I haven’t heard a lot from him. This is for good reason, as he’s most likely busy trying to make a living.
I’m sure he’s heard the recent news that much of the Denver Post’s (same Alden ownership) recently departed “A Team” of journalists is forming The Colorado Sun, a new Colorado news outlet based on blockchain technology. While Dave may have already landed a good gig, the Sun may need a top-notch editorial page editor. You never know.
Poetic justice would have it (fantasizing here) that Dave does join up with the Sun team and, eventually becomes the top-selling edited, vetted Colorado news site in the state -and Alden abandons quality news media as a vehicle to milk the system.
